

DO SOMETHING FOR THE FIRST TIME
So adulting is not at all how you imagined it would be.
I mean, it's not too bad.
Starting the day with a fave Starbucks drink, going to work, grabbing take out, doing the laundry, binging Netflix.
Most days, you kinda slaying it like a PRO!
But secretly you wonder how come one day you were this fearless & spontaneous kid, and the other day you somehow woke up as this serious and boring adult.
You know it's time to change something!

I feel you!
Hello, I’m Dominika, a formerly predictable adult who stopped taking life so seriously and is now in love with my spontaneous, silly adult life.
For way too long, I put on a serious face to be seen as professional and focused on being a responsible adult waiting for weekends when I could finally be more spontaneous. Only to find out that I'm so tired I can barely think of doing anything more adventurous than Netflix & laundry.
So I started 100 New Things To Try so women like me would get encouraged to try more things they've never done before, dare more, and have fun!
And that changed everything.
It all started with going on a well-deserved vacation!
So I got into the vacay mode and I tried amazing new things (like taking the front seats in the Splash Mountain ride in Disney World) that made me feel alive again. When I was sitting at the airport to fly back home, I said, "I wish we didn't have to go back! I'm going to quit this one day!"
And then I decided I DIDN'T WANT TO WAIT FOR ONE DAY.
Instead, I boarded the plane toward the sunrise of my badass life.
And I started having so many first-time-experiences!
Like starting a business, buying a one-way ticket to Canada, writing a check, house-sitting, snow tubing, getting adjusted by the chiropractor, seeing a raccoon, incorporating our business, switching to plant-based-diet, and so many more …
I can't even describe how trying new things expanded my mind, made me dare more, and loosen up. And I didn't want to lose that newcomer curiosity & confidence that trumps all fears.

So 100 New Things To Try was born.
I simply challenged myself to TRY 100 THINGS I haven't done before like floating pods, paddle boarding, or donating blood.

So now you may be thinking…
But I'm NOT brave, confident, or spontaneous enough!
Girl, I thought I wasn't either! Well, honestly, I still think I'm not.
Am I afraid sometimes? Of course! I'm scared shitless.
But I'm dealing with most of that fears kinda crap. (Okay, I'm still kinda avoiding cats just in case.)
Do I still try new things despite that? Hell yes!
Paddle boarding was my new thing #51, even though not knowing what might be hiding below the surface of the water makes me want to run back to & hide in the ladies' room.
YOU ARE WAY BRAVER THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE!
Remember how, as a child, you did new things boldly, with ease, daily.
Because failure was a learning process, not a waste of time!
You just forgot about that. But all that you need is a few fear slaying tips in your pocket & maybe a tiny kick in the butt to get you going.
And the thing is:
THERE'S MORE TO LIFE THAN DOING THE SAME OLD CRAP!
So here's my challenge to you:
Give Trying New Things a Try!
Do something for the first time and find out what happens.
